Invitation

Your invitation contains the most important details
- names, date, time and location.

Typical Card Size: A7 (5x7")

Info Card

Typically used for reception,
hotel, transportation, dress code
and website information

Add in a die cut shape for an
unexpected twist.

RSVP Card

Let your guests know how to
tell you they are attending.

You can use a traditional mail
in RSVP card or go for
website instructions if that fits
your wedding better

Envelope Liners

Envelope liners add a fun pop
of personality to any envelope.

They also add an feeling of
luxury and a fine attention
to details.

Belly Bands

Wrap your invitation with a
belly band to hold all of the
cards together snugly.

Vellum

Vellum wraps are available plain
or printed in your favorite pattern.

They protect your invite should the
envelope get damaged in the mail.

Wax seals are not required, but add
another timeless element.

Hand Torn Edges

Deckled paper is so soft and
ethereal!

Each piece of billowy soft
cotton card stock is hand torn
to create a feathered edge.

Digital Printing

This print method is smooth to
the touch and can also be
referred to as flat printing.

I use paper with a light eggshell
texture here that shows off
all of the gorgeosus details.

Letterpress Printing

We craft a custom press plate for
your design and press the inked
plate into cotton paper, creating a
beautiful impression that you can
feel with every touch.

Letterpress your entire design, or
combine it with digitally printed
watercolor elements.

Foil

Similar to letterpress, a custom
press plate is made of your design.

That plate is hand pressed with
metallic foil, for a brilliant
touchable impression.

Foil just part of your design
or the entire invitation.

DIGITAL PRINTING

Once approved for print, your order should be ready to ship out to you within 2 weeks. Some orders can be drop shipped straight from my printer to you, arriving in about 1 week.

Digital printing on 120 lb, single ply paper will always be your lowest cost option.

Prices increase with:

  • double thick, 240 lb paper
  • using white ink on dark envelopes
  • adding letterpress or foil
  • adding in printed guest addresses
  • any accessories

Count the number of households you have, then add in 10-20 more.

Remember that this is different than the number of people you are inviting.

I can always order more later if you need them, but there is a 10 piece minimum re-order.

That depends!

If you are planning a destination wedding, or a large number of your guests will have to travel to where you live, you'll want to send out ASAP. 1 year or more if possible. They'll need time to make travel arrangements.

If most of your guests are local or are within driving distance, standard mail out time is 6-8 months before your wedding.

Standard mail out time for invitations is about 8-12 weeks before your wedding.

Most save the date orders take about 3-4 weeks.

We usually spend about 1 week designing and 2 weeks for printing.

PRO TIP - guest addresses are nearly always the cause for delays - get that list solid ASAP!

Most wedding invitation orders ship in about 3-6 weeks.

We can spend anywhere from 1-4 weeks designing invitations depending on the number of changes you have and how complete your information is from the get go.

Think things through carefully before sending your wording over, share what you're thinking with your family and wedding planner first.

Then, your order will ship about 2 weeks after your proofs are approved for print with digital printing, 4-5 weeks for letterpress.

We strongly encourage ordering invitations as soon as your details are finalized, in an effort to keep this process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

Absolutely! Many of our clients will use letterpress for just the invitation and digital printing for the rest of the pieces.

You can also use letterpress with digital printing on an invitation that has watercolor artwork on it.

Kindly note that if you use letterpress on your invitations and digital printing on the rest of the pieces, our pint team does their absolute best to match the colors as close as possible.

My go to paper is a 120 lb card stock that has a light eggshell texture to it. It is available in white and ivory and I absolutely adore it.

White is going to be a pure white. Ivory is more of a soft white, not too yellow, but definitely not white.

All letterpress and foil orders are automatically upgraded to cotton paper to get the best pillowy indentations. We use a 240 lb cotton for invitations and 120 lb for details and RSVP cards. Pricing for cotton is already built into these print methods.

You can also upgrade any digitally printed order, please contact me for pricing.

We do not feel that cotton envelopes hold up well in the mail, so we do us a comparable eggshell paper for all envelopes.

Totally fine! Fill out the contact form and I'll send over a proposal for you. This form looks a lot like a shopping cart so you'll build what you think you need right now.

After you book, the invoice is broken into 3 payments - 1 due at the time of booking, 1 due around 13 weeks before your wedding, and the 3rd is somewhere in the middle.

This invoice system allows us to change what you're ordering - either the quantity or adding things in or taking things out. It will adjust all future payments.

I don't need to have your order specifics finalized until you approve everything for print.

Totally fine! This happens a lot. I would rather get the design 90% finished while we're waiting to see if your ceremony is at 2, 2:30 or 3. That's a minor detail we can change right before we go to print.

Yes! I get it, weddings are expensive, if you would rather pay in installments, rather than ordering through the website directly, fill out the contact form and I'll send over a booking form for you. This form looks a lot like a shopping cart so you'll build what you think you need right now.

After you book, the invoice is broken into 3 payments - 1 due at the time of booking, 1 due around 13 weeks before your wedding and invitation sent out time, and the 3rd is somewhere in the middle.

After you place your order, head over to the wording form and fill that out. Once we have your wording, we will get working on the design.

You should receive an email with your proof 2-3 business days after your order is placed.

Your proof will also include all of the details- quantity, paper type, paper colors, accessories and a timeline for review.

Proofs arrive through a shared Adobe link that you can send to your loved ones for review as well. Everyone can drop pins and leave comments with needed changes.

Additional rounds of changes typically take 1-2 business days.

OK, a lot of designers give you 2 or 3 rounds - that makes me feel icky.

My policy is - as many rounds as you need to make it perfect, no extra fees.

Absolutely! You will see proofs of every envelope. Everything will be printed exactly as shown in the proofs, so look through carefully!

So my degree is in engineering, grammar is not my forte. That's why I use a professional proof reader. She is the director of communications for the Milwaukee Symphony and she proof reads and fact checks all day long.

She will not only check spelling and grammar, but she also makes sure your ceremony is actually on a Friday, that your venue address is correct and that your website is working and shares the same information as your invitations.

I typically send her a close to final copy of your design after we have worked the kinks out.

Menus, programs, place cards, etc. are really quick!

Most orders arrive 1 week after your proofs are approved.

Try to place your order 3-6 weeks before your wedding

Approve your order for print 2 weeks before your wedding.

That means it should arrive to you 1 week before - plenty of time for us to deal with any issues that may arise with shipping.

Multiple is fine! If you have your menu set, great! Let's design that and get it out of the way.

Just let me know if you are planning on ordering other pieces. If you are, I'll hold on to the earlier designs and send them all to print at the same time.

Yes! Same as invitations, I can send you a booking form that build an invoice for what you think you need today.

Then as your plans evolve - maybe quantities change or you only need a welcome sign and not a bar sign, I can adjust your invoice as needed.

Your first payment is due upon contract signing, the 2nd is due 2 weeks before your wedding at the time we send it to print.

Yes! Please reach out if you are on a tighter timeline. My printer does offer next day printing and next day shipping, but it may not apply to all products.

If available for your product, rush processing and shipping is an additional $150.

Letterpress rush availability changes as her calendar fills up, please reach out first so I can check with her.

Schedule a Consult

Not every couple can meet with me in person, in fact, most couples I never meet in person and that's perfectly fine!

I do some of my best work through email so I can send you photos of design ideas, but if you'd like to hop onto a quick zoom call to run through some ideas, you can book a 30 minute consult.

If we haven't already been emailing and you're brand new to me, I will reach out ahead of time to learn a bit more about our call so I can be prepared to have certain swatches and samples pulled out ahead of time.

Want to see samples first?

Schedule a zoom call and you are eligible to receive 2 free sample invitations along with paper swatches for any other colors you are thinking of using. If you would like to do this, please schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks from now to allow for time for me to get those to you. Leave your favorite suite names in the 'comments' section as you book your call.

Not sure where you want to start?

If you want to see samples, but you don't know what you want yet, that's OK too! I'll chat with you and help you narrow down what you are envisioning and I'll choose a few samples to send your way after we meet.
